Cisco Career Certification

The widely respected Cisco Career Certification bring valuable, measurable rewards to network professionals, their managers and the concern that employ them.

Cisco Certified Network Associate ( CCNA )
This certification builds a foundation in knowledge of networking. The CCNA certified professionals can install, configure and operate LAN, WAN and dial access services for small services for all networks ( approx. 100 nodes or fewer ), including the these protocols like IP, IGRP, EIGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLAN, RIPv2, Ethernet and Access Control Lists.

Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP )
The CCNP indicates advanced journey of knowledge in networking. The CCNP professionals can install, configure and troubleshoot LAN and WAN networks for enterprise organizations having networks from 100 to more than 500 nodes. It emphasizes security, converged networks, Quality of Services (QoS), VPN (Virtual Private Network) and broadband technologies.

Cisco certified Internet Expert ( CCIE )
There is no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification. The candidate must first pass a written qualification exam and then corresponding hands-on labs. You are expected to have in-depth understanding on the topics in exam blueprints and strongly encouraged to have three to five years of job experience before attempting certification.
